KARACHI – The Karachi Traffic Police has issued a traffic diversion plan for 12th Rabi ul Awal processions, which will be held on September 17, Tuesday, to mark the Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH).

The birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUY)will be celebrated tomorrow with religious fervor and solemnity.

Milad processions are taken out in all cities, in Karachi, where religious scholars highlight all aspects of life of the Holy Prophet stressing adherence to his teachings and Sunna.

The Karachi Traffic Police said three main processions will be held in Karachi on Tuesday, adding that all the three will be held on the MA Jinnah Road.

They said two of the processions will start at 2:30pm and one will begin at 3pm. All these processions are expected to culminate late night.

The first procession will be taken out from Kharadar Masjid and Culminate at Gulzar-e-Habib Masjid while the second procession will start from Memon Masjid and conclude at Aram Bagh Masjid.

The third Eid Miladun Nabi procession will begin from Memon Masjid in Kharadar and culminate at Nishtar Park.

As per the traffic plan, the traffic coming from Empress Market will be diverted to Zaibunnisa Street while commuters coming from M Arkiani Chowk will use the Chowrangi Road.

Similarly, the vehicles coming from Aram Bagh light signal will be diverted towards Shaheen Complex.

The traffic coming from University Road will use the Kashmir Road after accessing it through Jail Flyover wile commuters coming from People’s Chowrangi will be diverted towards Saddar via Sharea Quaideen or Corridor-III.

The police said that Guru Mandir Road will be dedicated for traffic coming from the MA Jinnah Road.
