EHFPRO 56th board of directors meeting convened

The 56th Board of Directors meeting of EHFPRO was convened in the Committee Room of the Housing Authority, chaired by Captain (Retd.) Zafar Iqbal, Director General of the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority. The board addressed key issues regarding the EHFPRO project, with a focus on technical challenges and identifying solutions. Senior officers from EHFPRO and directors from the Housing Authority provided recommendations to the Director General to address these issues.

Captain (Retd.) Zafar Iqbal emphasized the need to reiterate the project’s importance and its potential benefits to federal employees and investors.

He directed the team to develop a comprehensive action plan for the rehabilitation of the project within seven days, to be presented at the next board meeting.

He further highlighted that this project represents a prime opportunity for secure investment, which will boost the construction sector and benefit over 40 related industries. It will generate thousands of direct and indirect employment opportunities, contributing to economic growth and poverty reduction.

Captain (Retd.) Zafar Iqbal stressed the critical nature of the project and stated that failure will not be tolerated. Moving forward, all factors contributing to project delays will be thoroughly addressed.
