LAHORE – The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) continued operations against illegal commercial use and commercialization fees defaulters in Lahore.
On Friday, LDA teams sealed 14 buildings in different blocks of Allama Iqbal Town and Mustafa Town for illegal commercial use and not paying commercialization fees.
The sealed premises include EFA School System, Khawar Academy, public sector bank, saloon, grocery store and shops.
LDA Chief Town Planner-I Assad-uz-Zaman supervised the operations which were carried out by the enforcement teams with the help of the Police.
As per the LDA officials, several notices were served to these buildings’ owners before carrying out the operation. LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has directed continuing indiscriminate operations against violation of building and parking bylaws, encroachments and illegal commercial use in Lahore.
