Education Dept decides to hold Dec exams on Feb 1

The Punjab School Education Department on Thursday decided to conduct nine-month examinations (December exams) in all government schools across Punjab on February 1.
It has been decided that the education department will conduct objective-type papers for students while the annual exams will likely be held at the end of April.
The provincial school education department will also provide online training to teachers.
As per the policy introduced by the provincial government, Punjab School Education Department will be promoting students in the next class on the basis of 50 percent marks homework and 50 percent examination marks.
BEST FOOD BEING PROVIDED AT LGH PANAGAH
Principal Postgraduate Medical Institute and Ameer Uddin Medical College Prof-Dr Sardar Muhammad Al-freed Zafar paid a surprise visit to the guesthouses (Mehmaan Khanas) set up on the instructions of the Punjab government at Lahore General Hospital. He reviewed facilities being provided to the patients’ attendants coming to the hospital. Families and attendants of the patients expressed satisfaction over the facilities available and specially thanked Prime Minister Imran Khan and Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar for instructing them to have breakfast and lunch. MS LGH Dr. Abdul Razzaq, Dr. Jaffar Shah and Dr. Abdul Aziz besides administrative doctors were also present on the occasion. Principal PGMI has nominated 2 focal persons to monitor these guest houses (Mehmaan Khanas) in which Dr. Haider Butt and Dr. Saad Hassan included.

with the vision of PM Imran Khan and the policy of the Provincial Government, the best facilities are being provided to the families of patients in the guest houses of LGH where he has instructed the duty DMSs to visit and inspect the guesthouses on a daily basis in three shifts. He said that General Hospital is a medical institution of its own kind where most of the patients suffering from head injuries come not from Lahore and Punjab but all over the country and to provide shelter and food to the people who have come from far and wide it is a great virtue.
