On the instructions of Inspector General Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, the process of providing driving licenses to citizens from police offices across the province continues. Spokesperson of Punjab Police said that more than 01 lakh 12 thousand driving licenses were issued across the province including Lahore on Saturday.
Spokesperson Punjab Police further said that in total more than 17 lakh driving licenses had been issued to the citizens during the last 02 weeks, which includes learning, regular, renewal and international all licenses. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that citizens are getting special facility with the new online system and citizens are getting their learning license from their mobile phones.
