DPO vows to eradicate criminal elements

District Police Officer (DPO) Zahoor Babar Afridi reiterated the district’s commitment to eradicating criminal elements, emphasizing a firm stance against anti-social behavior. Addressing a delegation of senior journalists from the Mardan Press Club, DPO Zahoor Babar Afridi declared a zero-tolerance policy towards criminal activities, asserting that law enforcement would deal decisively with those disrupting peace and security in the region.

Speaking passionately about the impact of narcotics on the youth, DPO Zahoor Babar Afridi labeled drugs as a scourge that threatens the younger generation. He affirmed the police force’s resolve to pursue and dismantle drug networks, commonly referred to as the “merchants of death.”

Recognizing the pivotal role of Hujra, a traditional gathering place in Pakhtun culture, DPO Zahoor Babar Afridi emphasized its positive influence on society. He outlined efforts to leverage community spaces like Hujra to engage youth in constructive activities, aiming to shield them from the adverse effects of digitalization.Emphasizing the importance of community policing in maintaining law and order.
