Doctors and paramedics and leaders of Clerk Association observed a token strike across district Sujawal and staged a protest outside District Health Office Sujawal against maltreatment meted out to doctors during duty hours in Jati and Daro by notorious goons of the area and the failure of relevant authorities to provide them security.
The outdoor patient services (OPDs) remained suspended at all Taluka hospitals and the Civil hospital Sujawal for around 4 hours causing embarrassment and inconvenience to the patients as a large number of them returned home without taking treatment.
