DG Rescue Punjab, Dr Rizwan Naseer chaired the annual district’s performance review conference (DPRC) here on Tuesday in the Regional Emergency Officers (REOs) meeting held at Emergency Services Headquarters. He reviewed the performance of all districts through a new grading system of performance evaluation. All Regional Emergency Officers presented grading of their respective districts, stations, vehicles, rescue staff, and submitted the nomination of best rescuers for the cash award.
He also analyzed the proposal of REOs regarding Training Need Analysis (TNA) of all divisions and refresher training for managers and Rescue staff to further enhance the capacity of the Rescue Staff.
The meeting was held at Rescue Headquarters, attended by Regional Emergency Officer Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Multan, Sargodha, Sahiwal, Bahawalpur, DG Khan, and Head of Wings from Rescue Headquarters and Academy.
On the occasion, the DG Rescue Punjab reviewed the Grading of Rescue Officers, Stations Vehicles of all districts of Punjab. He directed REOs to ensure the grading system and physical fitness of the staff to maintain the standards of service for timely service delivery to the citizens without discrimination. He asked REOs to give appreciation to the best rescuers to motivate and encourage them for their gallantry and laborious work. DG Rescue also emphasized scaling up the weak and average performance rescuers because no compromise will be on Service standards.
Dr Rizwan Naseer directed all REOs to observe new call taking and dispatch system started in Lahore to avoid unnecessary delay in response to emergencies.
