Major General Azhar Waqas, the Director-General of Rangers Sindh, visited the residence of the Shaheed Lieutenant Colonel Syed Kashif Ali in Mir Ali, North Waziristan, who was martyred during a military operation. During his visit, Major General Azhar Waqas conveyed condolences to the bereaved family, recited prayers for the departed soul, and presented tributes to the martyred officer.
Expressing his sentiments, Major General Azhar Waqas stated that the sacrifice of Lieutenant Colonel Syed Kashif Ali for the motherland would be remembered in golden words. He emphasized that the armed forces and other law enforcement agencies remain unwavering in their commitment to ensuring peace, and they will not hesitate to make any sacrifice for the sake of security. Furthermore, Major General Azhar Waqas highlighted the capabilities of the Pakistani military personnel and their resolve to counter terrorism and criminal elements effectively. He asserted that cowardly attacks by terrorists cannot dampen the spirits of the nation. The father of the martyr expressed his pride in his son’s sacrifice for the protection of the country, stating that they are ready to offer more sacrifices if needed to fulfill their duty towards the nation.
