Delegation of IIA visits National Accreditation Council

A delegation of Islamabad Industrial Association (IIA) visited the newly established National Accreditation Council (NAC) in NAVTTC headquarters Islamabad.

The delegation met with Executive Director, NAVTTC, Dr. Nasir Khan and Chairman NAC, Mian Waqas Masud and discussed TVET sector related issues.

Executive Director NAVTTC, Dr. Nasir Khan apprised the delegation about NAVTTC’s initiatives which will be helpful to produce skilled work force suitable to the local industry as well as international job market.

In this regard, he told the delegation about the Apprenticeship Program, inclusion of soft skills as a mandatory part of training curriculum, offering 300 Hi-tech trades for 2nd batch of training program and creation of National Employment Exchange Tool (NEXT).

Further, the Executive Director highlighted the significance of recently established National Accreditation Council to improve the TVET sector regime in the country.
