Special Assistant to CM on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Friday said that now or never statement of the heir-apparent of Jati Umra proved false as December 8 has passed and nothing has happened.
The SACM said that every claim of the ‘princess’ proved fake. December 13 will also pass and the PDM will not get anything. The government will not be shaken through public meetings or processions, she said. The fake princess may conduct as many tours but nothing will happen after two days and the whole world will be witness to her failures.
She said the PDM will not achieve anything as it is politically exposed. Meanwhile, the government is responding to the politics of anarchy through an agenda of public service. The PDM is trying to create unrest through its politics of chaos while the eternal enemy is conspiring against the stability of Pakistan, concluded the SACM.
Meanwhile, Punjab Minister for HR&MA Ijaz Alam Augustine said that there is no doubt that since the PTI government came to power, religious minorities celebrated their festivals at the official level with complete freedom, while first time in Pakistan’s history, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, the Chief Minister of Punjab and the Governor of Punjab attended all festivals to show solidarity among religious minorities.
The Minister strongly condemned the announcement of Secretary of State Michael Pompeo in which he designated Pakistan as “countries of particular Concern” (CPC) under its International Religious Freedom Act. He said that how it was possible to declare Pakistan a state where religious minorities are much safe as compare to India, in fact in Pakistan religious minorities are enjoying equal status as like every Pakistani citizen. He expressed these views in a ceremony held in connection with welcome to Christmas at central Cathedral Church of praying hands, Lahore on Friday.
The minister in his address said that under the vision of Prime Minister I.K, the provincial government is making all-out efforts to remove sense of deprivation and alienation amongst religious minorities and driving them towards national mainstream while Prime Minister Imran Khan has also made it clear to the world that occupied Kashmir was the beginning, today Indian Government is targeting of 20 million Muslims in India. He further said that after ending Kashmir’s special status and controversial Indian Citizenship amendment bill was one of the worst examples of violation of human rights.
At the end of the ceremony, provincial minister cut the cake among Pastors, Bishops and community’s government employees and prayed for the development and prosperity of the beloved country Pakistan.
