The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Sialkot Dr Nasir Mehmood Bashir on Friday has said that effectively dealing with the ever rising environmental pollution was the biggest challenge of the time.
He said this while presiding over a meeting with the team of ‘Ricardo Energy and Environment and Clean Air Asia’, who is busy in taking steps to minimize environmental pollution in Sialkot district with the cooperation from Asian Development Bank (ADB), in the Committee Room of the DC Office here.
The group leader Ricardo Energy and Environment and Clean Air Asia Ben Grebot and Glynda Bathan were present in the meeting apart from the Additonal Deputy Commissioner (finance and planning) Karim Bakhash, the Assistant Sommiss ioner Sialkot Javeria Maqbool Randhawa and representatives of many departments.
