Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad has imposed Section 144 of Criminal Procedure Code 1898 in the district according to which use of face masks has become mandatory for the general public while visiting public places in Abbottabad district .
This order has come enforce immediately and shall remain enforced for the period of 30 days.
According to notification issued by Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad Muhammad Mughees Sanaullah , it has been observed that the third wave of COVID-19 is more severe & lethal which calls for taking effective preventive measures..
It has become necessary for the general public to ensure wearing face masks while visiting public places as an effective measure to control the spread of COVID-19.
Any person contravening this order will be liable for punishment under section 188 PPC, notification added.
