A 16-year-old Dalit girl was allegedly gang raped in Jharkhand’s Hazaribag district, police said.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Superintendent of Police Manoj Ratan Chouthe, said that three of the five accused have been arrested and a manhunt has been launched to nab the remaining two.

The incident took place in a village in Daroo Police Station area on Sunday night when the survivor, a student, and her two friends went near a pond to relieve themselves, the officer said. Five motorcycle-borne persons hailing from a neighbouring village abducted the survivor.
