Pakistan Cultural Festival was being celebrated by one of the oldest educational institutions of the Punjab provincial capital this year too with same traditional zeal and enthusiasm at the end of the current month, which would be a blend of competitive enthusiasm and impressive learning.
Principal of the historical St. Anthony’s High School, Mr. Maxwell Shanti has said that the cultural festivals contribute to the economic development of a region by creating cultural resources, promoting tourism, and generating economic value through branding and accessibility
Maxwell Shanti, who has given the school a new look with his hard work and outstanding performance, said in a statement that the school’s students will display the vibrant colors and diverse culture of their country through stunning performances of folk songs and delivering speeches on this important matter.
The Principal, who was running simultaneously the main campus on Lawrence Road as well as the Faisal Town branch of St. Anthony’s School, added that the attired in colorful costumes of their respective provinces, the young and talented students will mesmerize the audience with their performances of traditional and folk songs. The students will also set up a stall, displaying various traditional items, and offering food.
Mr. Shanti observed that the Cultural Festival embodies St. Anthony’s commitment to deliver an unforgettable and captivating experience, combining the thrill of competition with the richness of cultural diversity.
While sharing his thoughts, he shared the significance of distinct values of acceptance, peace, tolerance and respect in Pakistani culture and the way they have evolved over a period of time. He mentioned that the recognition of diversity on economic, political and social basis is very important for the inclusion of different genders, cultures and ethnicities at institutions as well as at family level for the progress of overall nation and the country.
With this, the Principal shared the relevance of culture of an institution and organization with the performance of people.
