Special Assistant to Punjab Chief Minister on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that some political pygmies have bowed their heads in a servile manner just for their political gains. Those who have no political footing are pointing fingers at the elected government of Prime Minister Imran Khan just to please their leadership. A group of cronies is defending the corruption of Calibri Queen.
PML-N filled their coffers and looted the national exchequer instead of serving the masses. The opposition is misleading the innocent people of Pakistan and making a futile effort to conceal their corruption. Those who looted national exchequer will be held accountable. Those who are soaked in corruption cannot escape from the court of the people by mudslinging on the government.
These views were expressed by Special Assistant to Punjab Chief Minister on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan while inaugurating different development projects worth Rs350 billion here on Saturday.
She said that the Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar is working day and night for the progress and development of the province. The former government was only blowing the trumpet whereas the incumbent government is burning the midnight oil for the welfare of the masses. The PML-N government was only interested in such projects which gave them high kickbacks. The PML-N government’s extravagant expenditures on politically motivated fleshy projects resulted in financial crises. The Sharifs willfully weakened the institutions to continue their hegemony over the state.
Prime Minister Imran Khan nominated Usman Buzdar as the Punjab Chief Minister because he is well aware of the problems of the common people. The rejected political group is conspiring to come into power through back door. The PTI came into power with the vote of people and INSHA ALLAH the party will clean sweep the Gilgit Baltistan elections. The opposition rebukes the state institutions in public and begs for relief in parleys.
India is constantly committing the human rights violation in Kashmir by attaching the innocent civilians. We stand in complete solidarity with our Kashmiri brothers and sisters. By promoting anti-Pakistan narrative, the agents of Modi are trying to create anarchy in the country. Being a loyal citizen of Pakistan, it is our responsibility to safeguard the interests of the country. The opposition should stop maligning state institutions and should not include state institutions into its dirty politics.
Later, the Special Assistant attended as chief guest a ceremony titled “Seerat-e-Rasool (PBUH) aur Falsafaey Iqbal” at Alhamra Cultural Complex to pay homage to Holy Prophet (PBUH) who is a source of light and guidance for all the humanity. Dr Firdous also chaired a meeting to overview preparations with regard to “Shan-e-Rehmat ul Lil Alameen” week and directed the concerned officials to make proper arrangements.
