With the special efforts of Secretary Primary and Secondary Healthcare Imran Sikandar Baloch, the province-wide vaccination campaign is successfully moving towards its goals.
According to details, the Health Department has set a new record of vaccination across Punjab as a record number of vaccinations are being carried out on a daily basis.
The secretary underscored that it is imperative that all people over the age of 15 should get themselves vaccinated immediately.
He said that there are currently, a total of 636 vaccination centres functioning across the province.
“Vaccination campaign is successfully underway at all vaccination centres across the province and during the last 24 hours, a total of 345,320 people have been vaccinated across Punjab, bringing the total number of vaccines administered so far to 43,988,644 while 30,776 vaccines have been administered in the last 24 hours in the provincial capital Lahore.
During the last 24 hours, 811 new cases were reported from across the province.
So far, the total number of cases has reached 428,395. Besides, 396,327 patients have fully recovered in the whole province, bringing the total number of active cases to 19,518.
In recent 24 hours, 3 deaths are recorded in Lahore whereas 18 deaths have been reported in Punjab, while the total number of deaths has reached 12,550. During the last 24 hours, 14,498 tests are conducted making a total of 7,296,827 tests.
