RAZA NAQVI ATTOCK In Attock district the number of Coronavirus positive cases has reached 25 including one recovered while two died of this deadly disease. Incharge Corona Control Cell Attock Dr Asif Niazi while talking to new smen said that during the last tw o months 225 corona virus suspect patients w ere reported which include 22 pilgrims (w ho returned from Iran) and out of these nine were found positive and are still in quarantine w aiting for result of their retest while 13 w ith negative results have been sent home. Dr Asif said that 73 Corona suspects from tableeghi jamaat w ere quarantined and out of these so for six have been found positive, 51 found negative while results of 16 are awaited. He said that those w hose results w ere found negative have been sent home. He said, tw o positive patients (one male and one female) who were their seventies died last week because of this deadly disease and were laid to rest as per the Covid 19 protocol after fulfilling all religious obligations. While replying a question Dr Niazi said that all the positive patients are in stable condition and hoped that all will recover soon.
