A cop on Monday ended his own life by shooting in the head over uncertain reasons. According to details, an assistant-sub inspector (ASI) Muhammad Hussain (57), who was presently appointed in the Nekapura police station, on Monday morning ended his life by shooting in his head in the premises of the police station.
The District Police Officer Sialkot Muhammad Hasan Iqbal after the incident rushed to the spot along with other local high ups of the police and ordered an immediate enquiry into the sad matter. The local police have termed some domestic issue as the cause of the suicide; however, investigations about the incident are on. It is told that the deceased was a resident of Narowal district and currently was residing in Hamza Ghous locality of Sialkot along with his family.
