Punjab Minister for Law, Parliamentary Affairs and Cooperatives Raja Basharat has said that Punjab Provincial Cooperatives Bank (PPCB) would be restructured and made an active institution for the betterment of agriculture and farmers.
He was presiding over an important meeting in this regard at the head office of the bank here on Thursday. The Secretary Cooperatives and President PPCB briefed the meeting participants on the current status and future prospects of the bank. He informed that that the Board of Governors of PPCB had not been functional since 2005 while the Bank comprised of 150 branches in urban and rural areas across the province.
