Secretary Local Government, Housing and Town Planning Sindh Engineer Najam Ahmad Shah has said that the number of people downloading Sindh Solid Waste mobile Application is increasing day by day, Solid Waste Application plays an important role in timely resolution of public complaints.
He expressed these views during interaction with media. He said that the steps taken to make all the operations of Sindh Local Government Department transparent and timely through digitization are being extended to all the subsidiaries in a phased manner and soon all the local government affairs of Sindh will be fully digitised.
Najam Ahmad Shah said that the mobile application launched by Sindh Solid Waste Management Board is available on both android and apple phones and the popularity and number of its users is increasing with each passing day.
According to Sindh Local Government Secretary, complaints lodged through Solid Waste’s mobile application are responded within eight hours and the complainant can also check the status of his application online.
Engineer Syed Najam Ahmad Shah said that the mission of digitalisation is not easy but it is necessary to do so keeping in view the requirements of the future and the needs of the new era.
Appreciating the performance of all the employees of the local bodies on the occasion of Ashura, the Secretary Local Government of Sindh directed them to work with more determination and sincerity and also instructed them to follow the SOPs and take necessary precautionary measures while performing their duties.
