Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, light rain and snowfall is expected at isolated places in Gilgit Baltistan. Foggy conditions are likely to persist in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and upper Sindh during night and morning hours.
Temperatures of some major cities recorded on Tuesday. Islamabad and Muzaffarabad five degree centigrade, Lahore ten, Karachi seventeen, Peshawar eight, Quetta zero, Gilgit and Murree three degree centigrade. According to Met Office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, cold and dry weather is expected in Srinagar, Jammu, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramulla, while very cold, dry and partly cloudy weather in Leh.
Temperature recorded. Srinagar and Anantnag zero degree centigrade, Jammu ten, Leh minus seven, Pulwama and Shopian minus one and Baramulla one degree centigrade. Meanwhile the local Met Office has forecast dry and cold weather for the city for the next 24 hours. The highest maximum temperature of 25 centigrade and the lowest minimum of 10 centigrade were recorded during the last 24 hours.
