Cold, dry weather expected

Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while partly cloudy weather in upper parts during the next twelve hours. However, light rain and light snow are expected at isolated places in Gilgit Baltistan.

Temperature of some major cities recorded on Sunday. Islamabad four degree centigrade, Lahore ten, Karachi sixteen, Peshawar seven, Quetta and Murree two, Gilgit six, and Muzaffarabad five degree centigrade.

According to met office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly, cloudy and cold weather is expected in Srinagar, Anantnag, Shopian, Baramulla and Pulwama while very cold, dry and partly cloudy weather is expected in Jammu and Leh.

Temperature recorded this morning: Srinagar, Baramulla and Pulwama minus one degree centigrade, Anantnag one, Jammu eight, Leh minus seven and Shopian minus two degree centigrade.—APP
