CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif Directs to Launch Air Ambulance Service by 30 June Lahore, 23 May 2024: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has ordered to launch Air Ambulance Service at the earliest and has fixed a deadline up to June in this regard.
CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif has also granted an approval to launch CPR Training Programme.
The Chief Minister directed to launch CPR Training Programme for the students. She said that Air Ambulance Service will be utilized to shift the patients in an emergency situation from the far-flung areas.
The Chief Minister presided over a special meeting in which matters pertaining to launch ‘Air Ambulance’ and ‘Emergency Services’ were reviewed. The CM was informed during the meeting that male and female students of schools, colleges and universities will be imparted first aid training of heart attack.Mock exercise phase for the Air Ambulance Service has been completed.
The training of doctors and staff for the Air Ambulance Service is ongoing.
Secretary Emergency Services RizwanNaseer gave a briefing about the Air Ambulance Service and CPR Training Programme.
Provincial Minister for SHC&ME Khawaja Salman Rafique, Dr. Adnan Khan, Secretary Finance MujahidSherDil, Principal Secretary to CM SajidZafarDaal, Secretary Implementation Danish Afzaal and other officers attended the meeting.
