Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, accompanied by Minister Irrigation Jam Khan Shoro, bid farewell to Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, the spiritual leader of the Dawoodi Bohra Jamaat, at the Old Terminal on Saturday. Before his departure, Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin offered prayers for the prosperity and security of the people of Pakistan and the world.

Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin had arrived in Karachi on July 4, on the invitation of President Asif Ali Zardari, and was welcomed by the Chief Minister. During his stay, Syedna received three copies of over 150-year-old handwritten Tafseer-e-Quran and khutbas of Bohra Jamaat leaders from CM Murad Ali Shah, who presented these rare and beautiful manuscripts as a gesture of goodwill. Syedna expressed his gratitude for the invaluable gifts.
