Chairperson District Counsel Attock Eman Tahir while addressing the members of the house has thanked Chief Justice of Pakistan for restoring district councils and has set a precedent and now in future no one will dare to dissolve district govt before completion of tenure.
Chairmen of all the union councils were attended the session. Eman Tahir said that earlier local govt was restored in March but the decision was not implemented for six months which shows I’ll intentions of the govt.
She said, when in March this year she along with chairmen of the union counsels entered district Counsel area, all the offices were found locked and a fake FIR was registered against her which was an ample proof that all were afraid of her (daughter of Major Tahir Sadiq).—Raza Naqvi
