A minor boy was injured when a Dolphin Force official opened fire on his in-laws at Nishter Colony.
Police said Azhar, a constable in Dolphin Force, had a dispute with his in-laws and opened fire at them on road.
A 10-year-old passerby suffered a bullet wound in the abdomen and was taken to hospital where he was said to be stable.
A police team reached the spot and arrested Azhar and registered a case against him.
DIG Operations Abid Khan also took notice of the incident and directed the Model Town SP to take legal action against the Dolphin Force official.
