CG of Turkiye, Minister for Industries discuss bilateral ties

Consul General of Turkiye posted in Lahore Durmus Bastug met with the Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce SM Tanveer at TEVTA Secretariat.

Secretary Industries and Commerce Ehsan Bhutta, Additional Secretary Housing, CEO FIEDMC and representatives of Turkish investment companies were also present in the meeting. During the meeting, the investment and issues of Turkish investment companies in Punjab were reviewed. The Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce assured to solve the problems of the Turkish investment companies as soon as possible according to the law.

Secretary Industries and Commerce Ehsan Bhutta gave a briefing about the Business Facilitation Centre. Speaking on the occasion, SM Tanveer said that a Business Facilitation Centre is being built in Lahore to provide facilities to the domestic and foreign investors. In this centre, complaints of domestic and foreign investors will be redressed immediately and officers of 17 departments will provide all investment facilities to the investors under one roof. He said that Pakistan and Turkiye have deep friendly, fraternal and economic relations. We need to take more steps to promote bilateral trade cooperation between the two countries.
