CEC Raja congratulates nation over peaceful elections

ISLAMABAD- Chief Election Commissioner Sikander Sultan on Thursday congratulated the nation, commending the peaceful conduct of the elections.

Sikandar Sultan Raja said that he is grateful to the public, local administrations, political entities, as well as security and civil authorities for their contributions to the electoral process.

Raja emphasized the importance of all stakeholders demonstrating responsibility in efficiently compiling and transmitting the election results. He highlighted that significant progress has already been made in preparing for the unofficial results following the conclusion of polling.

Earlier, while addressing the media at the Election Commission office, Chief Election Commissioner Sikander Sultan Raja emphasized that the elections nationwide maintained 100% transparency, peace, and security. He reiterated that no voter encountered barriers across Pakistan, expressing confidence in the acceptance of the election outcomes.

The CEC underscored that the polling process unfolded smoothly, ensuring every citizen’s right to vote without hindrance.

In instances where issues arose, he assured that the concerned Presiding Officer would promptly provide Form 45 at the Returning Officer’s office.
