LAHORE – Lahore Development Authority (LDA) continued operation against illegal commercial use in Lahore.
LDA teams sealed 26 famous food points, restaurants and bakers on Khayaban-e-Firdousi in Johar Town for non-payment of commercialization fee.
The sealed premises includes California Pizza, Al Nakhal, Dayers’ Café, Long Ilaichi, Showbiz Café, Café Da Bela, Chai Zindagi, Fankariyan Broast, Chai Dosti, Sheegay Da Food Villa, Social Scare, Dunba Shinwari, What A Paratha, Ilyas Dunba, Khan Shinwari, Chai Chaubara, Kaka Bhaiya, Farooq Caterers, Test Café, Chai Khas, Cheese Factor, Burger Mart and Baithak Khas.
LDA Chief Town Planner Athar Ali carried out operation with the help of enforcement teams and Police.
As per the LDA officials, several notices were served to the owners of these buildings before carrying out the operation.
LDA Director General Muhammad Ali Randhawa directed continuing indiscriminate operations against encroachment, violation of building bylaws and illegal commercial use.
