Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that the government is fully aware of the peoples’ problems and indiscriminate action is being taken against elements involved in artificial price hike.

In a statement issued here on Saturday, he said that due to the measures taken by the government, prices of essential commodities are being decreased and daily use items including flour, sugar and other commodities are available in Punjab at fixed prices.

Usman Buzdar assured that Ehsaas Rashan Programme will provide relief to the people in a real sense. He regretted that opposition parties were engaged in political point scoring on all the important national issues including corona and dengue in the past, even now they are making hullabaloo on price hiking just to gain political mileage.

He said that these elements have nothing to do with the peoples’ problem but to enter the power corri-dors. Such people are totally unaware of the basics of the economy and are merely issuing political statements. These are the people who are trying to create hurdles in national progress, he added.

The chief minister clarified that that are using negative tactics should remember that there is no room in Pakistan for their politics of do or die, resignations and long march.

CM Buzdar said that government resources were ruthlessly looted in the past and the former rulers used their offices for money laundering and kick-backs. The present government led by Prime Minister Imran Khan has laid the foundation for a transparent Pakistan, he concluded.
