Senior Vice President, Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) Chaudhary Talat Mahmood has said that business community is fully aware of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and in this connection various standing committees have been constituted to facilitate the FCCI members in particular and people of this city in general.
Addressing a maiden meeting of the Jail Reforms, Bait-ul Mal and Zakat here on Thursday, he said that it is one of the most important standing committees of the social sector.
“It has been headed by Syed Shafiq Hussain Shah who has vast experience in this field”, he said and hoped that Mr. Shafiq Shah will exploit his personal links with the high ups of the concerned departments to bridge the gap between the government and private sector.
Rana Sikandar Azam Khan also attended this meeting while Shafiq Hussain Shah offered him membership of this committee.
The meeting was also attended by Mr. Mohammad Ashfaq Khan, Syed Azhar Shah, Mr. Naseer Ahmed, Syed Mohammad Boote Shah, Mr. Irfan Izad Rana, Mr. Mohammad Asif, Mr. Sikandar Hayat, Chaudhary Sanaullah Gorsi, Mian Usman Rifat, Dr Iqbal Qamar and Rana Fayyaz Ahmed.
