Umar Hayat son of Ziada Ranjha killed his issueless brother at his village Nain Ranjha in the precincts of Police Station Phalia to grab his land and other property. On receipt of information, DPO Nasir Sial along with a police party visited the scene of occurrence.
The accused was arrested with the weapon used in the murder at the spot. The dead body was moved to the hospital and after postmortem was handed over to the heirs.
