BOR retrieves 61.4 acres state land: SMBR

Senior Member Board of Revenue (SMBR) Babar Hayat Tarar has said that the Board of Revenue (BoR) Punjab, in line with directions of Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has retrieved 61.4 acres of cultivated state land from squatters in Chak 27/DNB, Yazman, Bahawalpur.

In a statement issued here on Thursday, he said that the retrieved land values Rs.90.2 million and cases have also been registered against the illegal occupants.

SMBR Babar Hayat Tarar stated that the largest operation was underway in the province to retrieve government lands from influential land grabbers.

The BOR is the custodian of government properties and indiscriminate action will be continued to curb the menace of land grabbing, he added.
