In a startling revelation, the management of Blue World City has accused the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) and the local police of carrying out an unlawful operation against the housing project. Blue World City, which has been operational for five years, alleges that it is being unfairly targeted by the District Administration and the local Police.
During a press conference held at the National Press Club, Islamabad, Chairman Blue World City, Saad Nazir, and CEO Blue World City, Ch. Naeem Ejaz, shed light on the alleged unlawful actions by the RDA and the local police. They firmly asserted that all the necessary procedural documents have been verified since the inception of the project. So, how did Blue World City, a legally compliant venture, suddenly fall under the label of “unlawful”?
The area in which the project lies, they emphasized, is designated as a Banjar Qadiim, and legally categorized as a PHATA-controlled area. Thus, it is beyond the purview of the RDA to conduct operations in this jurisdiction.
