Over dozen injured in Swabi police station blast; casualties feared

PESHAWAR – At least seventeen people were injured as strong explosion rocked Swabi police station, prompting residents to rush out of their homes in fear on Thursday night.

After the powerful explosion, Swabi Topi Road has been closed to all traffic as emergency services respond to the incident. Several rescue vehicles and ambulances have been deployed to the area.

The loud blast has left many in shock, with local authorities urging residents to remain calm and stay away from the scene while investigations are underway.

District Police Officer Swabi Haroon ur Rasheed confirmed the blast, saying those who wee injured were shifted to Bacha Khan medical complex.
