The crypto market remained mixed on Monday, with the market capitalisation surging 1.4 percent to reach $2.41 trillion due to bullish sentiment in bitcoin, as of 1215 hours GMT.
The price of bitcoin (BTC), the largest cryptocurrency, gained 2.04 percent to reach $51,264. With this increase in price, the market capitalisation of the biggest cryptocurrency reached $964.1 billion. However, ethereum (ETH) price edged down by 1.17 percent to reach $3,881. With this decrease in price, the market capitalisation of ETH has reached $454.9 billion.
On the other hand, XRP snapped the two-day losing streak and gained 5.98 percent to reach $1.34. The market capitalisation of XRP stands at $133.8 billion after this increase.
However, cardano (ADA) continued going down amid profit booking, which has been underway since its price broke $3 mark, and shed 1.46 percent to reach $2.83. Its market capitalisation has reached $91.6 billion after this decrease.
On the other hand, dogecoin (Doge) price gained 0.65 percent to reach $0.303. —TLTP
