The cryptocurrency market bounced back on Wednesday, with market capitalisation surging 4 percent to $1.87 trillion.

As of 1155 hours GMT, the largest cryptocurrency Bitcoin’s (BTC) price increased by 4.65 percent to reach $40,508. With this increase in price, the market capitalisation of the biggest crypto has reached $767 billion. Bitcoin has gained 4.4 percent during the last seven days.

Ether, the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalisation, surged by 5.82 percent to reach $2,686. With this increase in price, the market capitalisation of ETH has reached $316 billion.—TLTP
