Bitcoin slips to $38,770 as cryptos turn bearish

The cryptocurrency market remained on the back foot on Tuesday, with market capitalisation decreasing by 0.5 percent to $1.8 trillion.

As of 1405 hours GMT, the largest cryptocurrency Bitcoin’s (BTC) price inched down by 0.28 percent to reach $38,770. With this decrease in price, the market capitalisation of the biggest crypto has reached $734 billion. Bitcoin has gained 1.8 percent during the last seven days.

Ether, the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalisation, dipped by 1.54 percent to reach $2,538. With this decrease in price, the market capitalisation of ETH has reached $298.7 billion.—TLTP
