The prices of major cryptocurrencies remained on an upward slide for the second consecutive day on Monday, with the capitalisation of the crypto market reaching $1.42 trillion with an increase of 3.6 per-cent as of 14:00 GMT.

The price of Bitcoin (BTC), the largest crypto-currency, jumped to $34,294 after gaining 3.52 percent. With this increase in price, the market capi-talisation of the BTC ha reached $642 billion.Likewise, ethereum (ETH) price gained 9.24 percent to reach $2,010. With this increase in price, the market capitalisation of ETH has reached $234 billion. Similarly, XRP gained 3.32 percent to reach $0.630. —TLTP
