KARACHI – Gold rates in Pakistan saw a drop on Thursday as per tola price moved down by Rs2,200, and new rate stands at Rs261,500.
Bullion prices come down despite surge in global rates. In local markets, the price for gold per tola dropped to Rs261,500, while price of 10 grams of gold also decreased, down by Rs1,886 to Rs224,194.

Silver Rates in Pakistan Today
On Thursday, Silver prices in local market remained unchanged, with 24-karat silver priced at Rs2,950 per tola and Rs2,529 per 10 grams.
Internationally, spot gold was trading near $2,518 per ounce, up $9.9 or 0.39% from the previous session. Platinum prices rose above the $1,000 per ounce mark, reaching a near one-year high, with an increase of 0.6% to $1,000.55 per ounce.
