DPO Muhammad Ali Waseem on Thursday distributed cash awards and appreciation certificates among sons and daughters of police employees who secured highest marks in matriculation examinations.
DPO himself received the best performing students after they reached his office along with their fathers, mostly of the rank of constables or head constables. Ten recipients who secured over 1000 marks out of total 1100 including seven girls received prizes. They included Meerab Tahir (1076) d/o constable Tahir Farooq, Aniqa Arshad (1065) d/o Muhammad Arshad, Mufaz Islam (1059) s/o head constable Abdus Salam, Munazza Saeed (1055) d/o constable Muhammad Saeed.
