There is a lot of scope for development in the field of information technology. Urgent measures are needed to develop IT sector. This was said by Governor Punjab Muhammad Balighur Rehman on the occasion of his visit to Jazz Digital Data Park in Islamabad.
During the visit, he was briefed on the new trends of IT in Pakistan. Governor Punjab Muhammad Balighur Rehman said that this Digital Park is an IT platform for freelancers, firms, public and private institutions and is providing them with modern facilities.
He said that development is not possible without acquiring expertise in the field of information technology. He said that Pakistani youth is very talented.
He further said that there is a need to teach modern IT skills to the young generation so that they can benefit from the opportunities available at the global level.
He said that Pakistan is progressing in the field of IT, but we still have to go a long way to compete with the world, he added.
He said that IT company should provide its services to students, universities, and educational institutions in the field of IT at affordable rates while fulfilling its social responsibility.
On this occasion, Jazz Chief Business Officer Asif Aziz said that Jazz is ready to provide all kinds of support to advance the vision of IT.
