Pakistan’s star batter and former skipper Babar Azam paid respects at Masjid-e-Nabvi, Madina during the holy month of Ramadan.
The flamboyant player is nowadays in holy city of Madina, where he visited Prophet Muhammad’s Mosque. Fans are excited to see their favorite player in action as he travelled to Kingdom to perform Umrah and that’s during ongoing month of Ramadan.
The classic hitter shared candid moments with fans about his visit to Prophet’s Mosque, a major Islamic pilgrimage site. A clip shared on his account shows Babar performing ablution (wudu) in the mosque.
“At the doorsteps of the beloved prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him – The Orphan who adopted the world,” he captioned the lovely post.
Muslims worldwide observe the Holy month with reverence, with many traveling to Mecca and Madina to perform Umrah and seek blessings in most sacred month. Along with couple of cricketers, captain had privilege of performing Umrah.
Naseem Shah and Imamul Haq, are also in Saudi Arabia for Umrah.
