LAHORE – Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari on Saturday accused Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) of providing weapons to its workers for November 24 protest.
“There is confirmed information that Afghan nationals and the Youth Force have been armed to disrupt peace on November 24. Imran Khan needs casualties. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Rs. 2 billion are being allocated for ‘May 9 Part Two,” said Azma while addressing a press conference here on Saturday.
She further alleged, “While incidents of terrorism have occurred in Kurram and Parachinar, Ali Amin Gandapur is focused solely on protests. Sectarian tensions are escalating in Parachinar, but Gandapur is causing chaos with Bushra Bibi’s involvement.”
Azma Bokhari claimed that Ali Amin Gandapur sidelined the Inspector General (IG) and took control of all affairs himself.
“The situation in KP is dire, with fires raging everywhere. Over 40 people have been killed, yet Gandapur appears indifferent,” said Azma.
Without naming Bushra Bibi directly, Uzma remarked, “Preaching about Shariah does not suit you. Focus on your personal matters, including marriages, betrayals and politics as a private individual.”
Azma said, “Shariah also teaches that one should not believe hearsay, yet claims about calls to Bajwa and rumors spread like wildfire. Khan, who is supposed to uphold the rule of law, is instead in jail over charges of theft, corruption, and sedition,”.
