Awareness walk raises voice against women’s violation

Led by City Police Officer Muhammad Ali Zia, an awareness walk titled ‘Never Again’ was held in Faisalabad to shed light on the issue of women’s violation. The walk commenced from Zila Council Chowk, traversing through various city roads before concluding at Clock Tower Chowk.

During the event, CPO Muhammad Ali Zia emphasized the importance of integrating women into the mainstream of society for overall progress. He highlighted the efforts undertaken by the police department to ensure the safety and protection of women, particularly in their workplaces. Measures such as the establishment of Anti Women Harassment & Violence Cell and Tahafuz Centre were mentioned, providing avenues for women to report incidents of violence and harassment.

Other notable participants included Chief Traffic Officer Maqsood Ahmad Lone, President District Bar Association Faisalabad Mian Anwaar-ul-Haq, ASP People’s Colony Zainab Khalid, and various other officials and members of civil society.
