PAKISTAN has registered unparalleled successes in the fight against terrorists and credit for this definitely goes to the security forces who gave the ultimate sacrifices to secure the future of the country. Nonetheless, there are still elements supported by our arch enemy – India – which are bent upon destabilizing the country but we have no doubt in saying that our security forces are fully on guard to offset their sinister machinations.
And one saw its manifestation yet again on Monday when the personnel of our Police and Rangers forced the terrorists to bite the dust when they foiled their attack on Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) killing four terrorists in a matter of a few minutes. It was the major terrorist attack in Karachi ever since the attack on the Chinese Consulate a couple of years back. The investigation into that terrorist act had revealed the hand of Indian Intelligence Agency RAW. This time also top government officials are seeing the Indian hand in the PSX attack. These allegations are not without substance given the posture of India towards Pakistan. The very confessional statement of Kulbhushan Jadhav is on record who admitted of supervising terrorist activities in Karachi and Balochistan. Then, the Indian military officials in recent times have openly been admitting through their media the support they are extending to separatist elements in Balochistan. The fact of the matter is that India cannot see Pakistan moving towards peace and prosperity and out of its sheer animosity it keeps on indulging in such nefarious activities. Pakistan has already shared with the international community, incriminating evidence about the Indian Intelligence Agency RAW’s involvement in terrorist activities. A thorough investigation needs to be carried out into the attack on PSX to nab the elements behind it and expose the nexus that exists between India and the terrorists. India never gets tired of blaming Pakistan for terrorism but the truth is that New Delhi itself has turned into a big terror monster. The international community must take immediate cognizance of India’s use of state-terrorism to destabilize neighbouring countries.
