LAHORE- An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Thursday sought case record from the police on a plea moved by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activist Sanam Javed in a case related to attack on PML-N house.
The court also sought report from the police about arrest of Sanam Javed in different cases.
At the outset of the hearing, the counsel representing the PTI activist said that an individual who was arrested just in one case of May 9 was being involved in all other related cases.
“Sanam Javed is being arrested in all cases of May 9,” said the counsel.
He asked the court to order release of Sanam Javed.
The court directed the police to present record of the case against Sanam Javed to which the police said that the record of the case is not readily available as the police went to conduct raid in Swat to arrest Murad Saeed and they took the record along with them.
“We will present record of the case before the court soon as the police return from the raid in Swat,” said the police.
At this, the court decided to adjourn the hearing until November 2 and allowed more time for legal deliberations and consideration.
