PARIS – Arshad Nadeem, who clinched the gold medal in javelin throw at the Paris Olympics, has been showered with honors and awards.
His fan following on social media has also seen a major boost.
In recognition of his historic achievement, the both federal and the provincial governments, celebrities, announced awards for Nadeem.
Besides it, the numerous sponsors have expressed a keen interest in working with the Olympic champion.

- International Association of Athletics Federations announced a reward of $50,000 for the gold medalists of the 2024 Paris Olympics.
- Punjab govt: Declared a prize of 100 million rupees for the national hero and also proposed the creation of a sports city named after Arshad Nadeem.
- Governor Punjab, Sardar Saleem Haider Khan: Announced a prize of 2 million rupees and invited Nadeem to the Governor House.
