Allied School, Dar-e-Arqam, The Smart School among 29 sealed in Lahore

LAHORE – The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Wednesday continued operations against illegal commercial buildings and commercialization fees defaulters in Lahore.
The LDA teams sealed 29 premises during operations against illegal commercial buildings and commercialization fees defaulters in Gulberg and Sazazar.
The sealed premises include The Smart School, Dar-e-Arqum, Allied School, Pips School System, Rana Academy, Zicas School, Amanat Eye Hospital, beauty saloon, book shop, car showrooms and other businesses.
As per the LDA officials, several notices were served to these buildings’ owners before carring out the operations. LDA Chief Town Planner-I Assad-uz-Zaman supervised the operations which were carried out by the enforcement teams with the help of Police.
LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has directed continuing indiscriminate operations against violation of building bylaws, encroachments and illegal commercial use in Lahore.
